 This role is with a Calyptus partner.__________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities:Coordinate and direct our marketing strategy, working closely with Leadership, BD, and Product to curate schedules and procure necessary resourcesAssist with the fine-tuning of our go-to-market strategy. Coordinate with BD and Tokenomics to implement all prongs.Coordinate with UI/UX design to optimize our product’s design and implement intelligent marketing strategies into its flow. Create copy to clearly communicate what our system does to our potential usersCarry out typical performance-marketing strategies, set KPIs, and measure outcomes, using the results of such to fine-tune our approachArchitect and execute our Community-building strategy, working closely with our Community Manager to design a regular schedule of events and activities for the purpose of growing a sustainable, organic, and engaged communityArchitect, construct, and execute marketing campaigns at important moments, such as our project announcement and our token launch. Engineer effective marketing funnelsTranslate our vision, product, and team story into a cohesive narrative; utilize available resources to communicate that narrative to potential customers and partners. You will work closely with the Product team to accomplish this outcome.Design, direct, and coordinate our social media strategy, delegating where necessaryResearch and develop compelling Customer Value Propositions and the associated GTM strategy to activate themBrand Building: Establishing a strong brand identity through all marketing channelsWork with partners to create media-friendly co-marketing campaignsCross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments like sales and product to unify the brand voice Requirements:3+ years of marketing experience1+ years of marketing experience in a leadership role1+ years of marketing experience in startups2+ years of involvement in DeFiBachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, or similar field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered. Formal marketing training is an advantage.Prior experience in a strategy-focused role is preferred.Known public presence in DeFi sector or has worked in a leadership role at a well-known DeFi organizationExperience with marketing within the DeFi community preferredIntermediate knowledge of performance-marketing and KPIs, with a specific focus on DeFi preferredExperience with Google Analytics, heat-mapping analytics platforms, mailing lists, X (Twitter), and other social media/analytics platformsDemonstrated technical writing and verbal communication skillsOutstanding English communication and social networking skills3+ examples of successful campaigns in the DeFi and Web3 sector.A proven involvement in Crypto Twitter is necessary for this role Competencies:Natural Leader - should understand what it takes to motivate people, how to handle their shortcomings, and how to bring out the best in themStrategic Thinking - must be able to juggle a comprehensive understanding of the high-level strategy with a granular attention to detail about its executionComprehensive understanding of DeFi - should understand the industry at an expert-level.
