tml Partners are delighted to partnering with a dynamic scale-up company who are looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing to join their team for a 9-12 month maternity cover position. This player-manager role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day execution, building a growth-oriented marketing engine for an innovative business. The Head of Marketing will lead a multi-channel marketing strategy, manage content-driven campaigns, and work closely with Sales, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure messaging is impactful and consistent. Responsibilities include overseeing a small team, and driving demand generation, ABM, and performance marketing activities focused on revenue growth. Key tasks encompass creating and managing marketing collateral, implementing digital marketing (SEO, email, social media), organising events, managing the marketing tech stack, and collaborating with external partners. You must have strong experience in B2B demand generation in a SaaS start-up / scale-up setting, with a strong record of growth in high-impact roles. Experience with both SME and enterprise marketing is required, along with excellent project management skills, a data-driven approach, and familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot. A proactive attitude, a passion for learning, and a collaborative mindset are essential, as this role supports the company’s expansion into new markets within the UK and beyond.
